Rumpel

Your English teacher

Rumpel is an English bulldog, about 120 cm tall with grey and white fur and blue eyes. He wears a suit, glasses, and a red tie with a maple leaf. At about 40 human years, he brings warm humor to teaching and sometimes says "Woof!" He loves coffee, pancakes, hockey, books, and keeping things in order.

"I will keep it friendly and clear. Learning English should feel good, not scary."

Snowflake

Fashion blogger

Snowflake is an elegant white sighthound with a calm personality. She works as a fashion blogger and has a love for vanilla, order, and photography. She is married to Rumpel, and they live together in their cozy Toronto home. Her friendship with Michelle dates back to their childhood.

Michelle Dubois

Café owner

Michelle is a human café owner from Québec. She has an energetic personality and wears bright clothes with cherry and star earrings. She is Snowflake's best friend since childhood and runs the Snow&Shell Café with the slogan "Espresso meets elegance." Michelle lives above the café.

Aarav Kumar

Electrician

Aarav is a human electrician from Mumbai who now lives in Toronto. He is tall, strong, and has dark skin. He is a great cook, especially known for his spicy curry, and has loud reactions when watching hockey games. He sometimes makes funny English mistakes, and Rumpel teases him kindly. Aarav is Rumpel's best friend, though they don't say it aloud.

Kate O'Connor

Flight attendant

Kate is a human flight attendant with a graceful presence and blue eyes. She loves to tell travel stories from her job. She is the only one who has met Jake in person, and she introduced him to Rumpel. Kate is rarely at home and often stops by the Snow&Shell café.

Jake is a human programmer living in New York City. He has blond hair, wears glasses, and prefers hoodies. He is quiet in nature and codes mostly at night. Jake loves puzzles and is an online friend of Rumpel. He has never been to Canada and communicates with the group through online means.

Dan is a human photographer with tall stature and green eyes. He has a warm smile and loves natural light, nature, and going for walks. He lives in Toronto with Yana and Sam, and they often have picnics and chat with Rumpel and Snowflake.

Yana Carter

Literature teacher

Yana is a human teacher of Russian literature. She has a tidy and quiet personality. She loves tea, keeping things in order, and using notebooks. Yana lives in the same unit with Dan and Sam in Toronto, and they enjoy picnics together with their friends.

Sam Carter

Student blogger

Sam is a 10-year-old human with freckles and blue eyes. He films small vlogs about interesting things he finds, like ants. Sam admires Snowflake and lives with Dan and Yana in Toronto. He often joins their picnics and conversations with the other characters.
